Červená Barva Press also took part in four bookfairs in 2009. We were at AWP, BU, Somerville Writers Festival, and the MA Poetry Festival in Lowell. I met so many wonderful people and reconnected with old friends. It was great and so much fun! It was important for our books/authors to have more exposure.

In 2010, Červená Barva Press will be on two panels. I'll send more information on that at a later time.

Our reading series will resume this spring. Soon, I will be sending a notice out about it. I just need to confirm the dates with the gallery. Tam Lin Neville will continue coordinating the series with me. The series is full for the spring and was by solicitation only. Červená Barva Press will have its five year anniversary in April. I am planning some special events to celebrate this.

I would like to thank Danielle Unger for her help with the press during her school break. She has been amazing and I am so grateful to her!

In the forthcoming months, look for new books by Leonard Cirino, Mark Pawlak, Roberta M. Swann, and Andrey Gritsman.

New chapbooks coming out soon are by Stacia Fleegal, Charles P. Ries, Zvi Sesling, and the 2009 chapbook contest winners Susan Lewis and James Penha. There will be so many more books and chapbooks coming out this year. Bill and I are very excited about it.

• SASE is not required as long as you provide an e-mail address No need to send acknowledgement page or cover letter. We want to see the work only.

Judge: We have a prominent poet judging. He has been featured in Poets and Writers Magazine, and on their cover. He is the author of numerous books and has asked us not to reveal his name until the winner is announced.
